MANILA – Authorities have identified a mother who gave birth to a baby boy onboard a Gulf Air flight from Bahrain to the Philippines. As of press time, it was reported that police at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport identified the 30-year-old woman after officers examined the passenger manifest.

The newborn baby, christened George Francis, after Gulf Air’s “GF” flight code, survived unscathed after being born in a passenger jet toilet and discarded in the bin.
Shocked cleaners discovered the 6lb 6oz boy in a garbage bag inside the aircraft moments after it arrived from Bahrain on Sunday, September 12. He was rushed to an airport clinic where he was examined, cleaned and given milk.
