WINNIPEG – On November 6, 2010, CKJS Radio 810 AM crowned its 2010 singing champions at the Pantages Playhouse Theatre, marking 20 years since their first Tuklas Talino in 1990.

Jesse James Baris won first place in the Adult category. While he admitted that he was up against tough competition that night, his engaging rendition of Bridge Over Troubled Waters won him the $2,000 cash prize and a trophy. Jesse produced the recent Winnipeg Glee Club concert at the Prairie Theatre Exchange and was also a major winner in Pilipino Express’ first Pinoy Pop Star competition in 2009.

In second place was Dutchess Cayetano and third place went to Amy Vaillancourt, both accomplished Winnipeg singers.
