PHILIPPINES – President- elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III has decided to follow tradition and hold his inauguration as the new head of state at the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park. He agreed to the suggestion of his transition team who also recommended that Aquino make a formal request for Justice Conchita Carpio-Morales to swear him into office on June 30.

Aquino, however, was more excited about his transition team’s plans for Quezon Memorial Circle where his celebrity, VIP and common supporters would converge to kick off a string of street parties across the country to celebrate the end of the nine-year rule of President Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo.
